The limited plot makes it impossible to get involved with any of the characters and the sheer volume of fight scenes quickly forces them to become tiresome.

If you’re just looking for a quick burst of schlocky, action-packed fun then this will certainly make the grade.

It’s possible that fans of Don Wilson or cheap action movies in general may appreciate it more, but to me it’s evident that the series was starting to run out of ideas.

‘Manhunt’ travels the same well-worn path as its predecessors (particularly ‘Bloodfist IV’) with a very predictable plot and some low grade action.

‘Half Past Dead’ is another poor addition to the rap fu genre and is less entertaining than both ‘Exit Wounds’ and ‘Romeo Must Die’, whose audience this clearly aims itself at.

The film is really just a blatant rip-off of bigger, better movies and the majority of the martial arts action is simply laughable.

All of the fun clashes with wacky opponents are noticeably absent, and the film feels like a much more run-of-the-mill low budget actioner.

All nicely shot on location and featuring the crisp and crunchy fight action we expect from Adkins and Florentine, ‘Seized’ delivers the goods.
