Chan’s choreography is the only minor highlight, but otherwise this is really only suitable for hardcore Angela Mao fans.

‘Enter the Dragon’ is a campy and extremely entertaining action romp that is successful because of two important ingredients – Bruce Lee and Martial Arts.

A simple storyline that is backed up by an ample supply of martial arts sequences; this is a film that makes no bones about being a showcase for the impressive fighting skills of its lead actors.

‘Snake Deadly Act’ is a typical example of a good, but not great independent kung fu flick.

Despite a slow and at times wearisome first half of the film, it eventually blossoms into a distinguished genre work that is recommended to any fan of the Jade Screen.

Although there’s the odd hole or inconsistency, the production mostly runs at a sustained pace that draws the viewer along with it.

‘When Taekwondo Strikes’, while still falling foul of the prosaic nature of the narrative and its uninspiring characterisation, is thankfully lifted above the mundane.
