Cast Member: Gary Daniels

If you’re just looking for a quick burst of schlocky, action-packed fun then this will certainly make the grade.

Recommended to all fans of Gary Daniels, and those who like their hands free action violent and acrobatic.

The combination of wacky humour and Chan’s superior comedic timing make ‘City Hunter’ a lot of fun to watch.

Although far from perfect, ‘Fist Of The North Star’ is still a relatively fun adaptation that tries its best to service both fans of the source and martial arts movies in general.

‘Ring of Fire’ is a bold attempt at breaking the usual martial arts B-movie mould but unfortunately it proves to be an unsuccessful one.

Admittedly the acting isn’t great and you’ve seen it all done better elsewhere, but if you’re in the right mood then it can definitely provide a fun night off for your brain.

Even a few moments of magic from Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and Gary Daniels do little to improve the overall picture, and it has to be said that this is a sorry excuse for a ‘Tekken’ movie.

This sort of sequel/prequel has its moments also but is nowhere near as fun, is often confusing and unfortunately feels like a half arsed attempt to cash in on the first flick.
