With more cheese than a Mini Babybel factory, ‘The Flying Mr. B’ is about as dated as Hong Kong comedy gets.

‘The Incredible Kung Fu Master’ is certainly not among the best kung fu films ever made, but there is enough enjoyable action to make the viewing experience seem worthwhile.

This engrossing team prove to be adept at the rigorous fight scenes and the subtle comedy that further lifts the film above the norm.

While it may not be the most original entry into the genre, ‘The Mar’s Villa’ contains just the right mix of drama and intrigue interspersed with a number of enthralling action scenes.

This sequel doesn’t match the original, but there are enough fresh ideas to make it watchable.

‘The Suspect’ is a highly recommended return to form for Ringo Lam after his brief stay in Hollywood. For fans of quality thrillers, this is unlikely to disappoint.

‘Tiger On The Beat’ is a surprisingly successful outing that proves Liu Chia-Liang was just as capable of handling modern day actioners.

There are odd glimpses of entertainment in ‘Tiger On The Beat 2’, but not enough to make this a recommended film to even hardcore action fans.

Kung-Fu comedy has a handful of triumphs, many that are flawed entertainment and quite a few that are woeful. ‘Two On The Road’ is another good, but not great addition to the crowded field.

‘Ultracop 2000’ is a risible film which attempts to be an action, comedy, fantasy film, but fails miserably on all counts.
