Action short film: ‘Ascendants’

‘Ascendants’ is a 2024 British action short film written and directed by Leroy Kincaide.

The film follows two escaped detainees who are forced into a fight for survival, after being tracked by a government agency looking to re-capture those people with superhuman abilities. The cast includes Giedre Jackyte, Ermar Alexander, Max Cavenham, and Eloise Lovell Anderson.

Synopsis: After escaping a detention centre for people with superhuman abilities, Reign and Donte two ex-detainees, are forced to survive when they are pursued by government enforcers looking to take them back into custody. With life as they know it hanging in the balance and no other alternatives, they must fight for freedom or lose everything to a much darker world agenda.
