Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Band Four’

CN Entertainment are bringing the the 2023 Hong Kong drama ‘Band Four’ (4拍4家族) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on April 19, 2024.

Written and directed by Lai Yan-Chi, the film follows an aspiring singer who is reunited with her estranged guitarist father and, along with other family members, the pair wind up forming their own unique band. The cast includes Kay Tse, Teddy Robin, Anna hisbbuR, Rondi Chan, and Tan Han-Jin.

Synopsis: Cat (Kay Tse), the lead singer of Band Four, works hard towards her music dreams while taking care of her 9-year-old son Riley (Rondi Chan), a drumming prodigy who struggles at school. She manages to secure a spot at the Great Escape Music Festival, but has to deal with her bandmates leaving. Furthermore, her long-absent guitarist father King (Teddy Robin) appears with his daughter (Anna hisbbuR), a bass guitarist. Suddenly brought together under one roof, the family of four find a common language through music until more unexpected challenges strike.
