Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Burning Blood’

CN Entertainment are bringing the 2024 Chinese crime action thriller ‘Burning Blood’ (热血燃烧 / Hot Blood Burning) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on April 25, 2025.

Directed by Wilson Chin, the film revolves around a pair of narcotics squad members who go in search of revenge after two of their people are killed during an attempt to arrest a multinational drug lord. The cast includes Jordan Chan, Michael Tse, Feng Mengmeng, Jerry Lamb, Jason Chu, German Cheung, and Paul Chun Pui.

Synopsis: Tai Hua (Jordan Chan), Lao Mi (Michael Tse), A Feng (Jerry Lamb) and A Tang (Jason Chu) are all in the narcotics unit of the police force. During an operation to apprehend drug lord “Old Dad” (Paul Chun), things go wrong, leaving A Feng dead and A Tang missing. The operation failed due to an apparent intel leak that came from within the unit. Tai Hua and Lao Mi go their separate ways into the gray zone as they fight to uncover the truth.
