Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Extreme Job’

Stone Music Entertainment are bringing the 2019 South Korean crime comedy ‘Extreme Job’ (극한직업) to Korean Blu-ray and DVD on August 24, 2020.
Directed by Lee Byeong-Hun, the film revolves around a group of drug squad officers who begin working at a chicken restaurant to nail a drug ring. The cast includes Ryoo Seung-Ryong, Lee Ha-Nee, Jin Sun-Kyu, Lee Dong-Hwi, and Gong Myung.
Synopsis: Narcotics detective Go (Ryoo Seung-Ryong) is perennially passed over for promotion. He’s been a squad captain for ages, and everyone, including his wife, keeps pointing it out to him. Looking for a big catch, he and his ragtag team of detectives Jang (Lee Ha-Nee), Ma (Jin Seon-Kyu), Young Ho (Lee Dong-Hwi) and Jae Hoon (Gong Myung) set their eyes on a major syndicate. To monitor the criminals, they take over a failing fried chicken restaurant across the street from their hideout, expecting there to be no business. Unexpectedly, their delicious fried chicken recipe becomes a big hit and soon customers are lining out into the street! But with so much chicken to fry, when will these police have time to do actual police work?
