Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Happy Together’

Panorama are bringing the 1989 Hong Kong romantic comedy ‘Happy Together’ (相見好) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on March 25, 2022.

Directed by Stephen Shin, the film revolves around the romantic ups and downs of a go-get-em news reporter and a burgeoning business executive. The cast includes Kenny Bee, Cherie Chung, Vivian Chow, Lowell Lo, Lawrence Cheng, and Chingmy Yau.

Synopsis: Whenever reporter Cherry (Cherie Chung) and up-and-coming businessman Lum (Kenny Bee) meet, the sparks fly – although they’re not always romantic sparks! A drunken night of passion gets things off to a rocky start, followed by a series of disastrous encounters that culminate in an unexpected romance. Cherry moves into Lum’s apartment, but the honeymoon is quickly over as the pair discover the extent of their incompatibility. Will love overcome all obstacles? Or will it be the death of Cherry and Lum?
