Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘High Forces’

Universe Laser are bringing the 2024 Hong Kong action thriller ‘High Forces’ (危机航线 / Crisis Route) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on January 3, 2025.

Directed by Oxide Pang Chun, the film revolves around an international security expert who is forced to take on a group of hijackers after they take over an Airbus A380. The cast includes Andy Lau, Zhang Zifeng, Qu Chuxiao, Liu Tao, Guo Xiaodong, and Jiang Mengjie.

Synopsis: A luxury A380 plane is hijacked on its maiden international flight. With the lives of 800 passengers on the line, international security expert Gao Haojun (Andy Lau) must step up to fight against the hijackers led by Mike (Qu Chuxiao). Haojun secretly coordinates with his ex-wife (Liu Tao) and blind daughter Xiaojun (Wendy Zhang), who are also onboard the plane, to stop the hijackers’ plans and ensure the plane lands safely.
