Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Monster’

Picturehouse Entertainment are bringing the 2023 Japanese drama ‘Monster’ (怪物) to UK Blu-ray and DVD on June 3, 2024.

Directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, the film revolves around a mother who confronts a teacher after she begins to notice disturbing changes in her son’s behaviour. The cast includes Sakura Ando, Eita Nagayama, Soya Kurokawa, Hinata Hiiragi, Mitsuki Takahata, and Akihiro Kakuta.

Synopsis: When her young son Minato starts to behave strangely, single mother Saori knows that there is something wrong. Discovering that one of his teachers might be responsible, she storms into the school demanding answers. But as the story unfolds through the eyes of mother, teacher and child, shocking truths begin to emerge.
