Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Vanguard’

Intercontinental Video are bringing the 2020 Chinese action thriller ‘Vanguard’ (急先锋) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on December 15, 2020.

Written and directed by Stanley Tong, the film revolves around a security team who must protect a wealthy businessman and his daughter from a terrorist organisation. The cast includes Jackie Chan, , Miya Muqi, , , and .

Synopsis: Businessman Qin (Jackson Lou) is kidnapped by unknown parties in London, and his daughter Fareeda (Xu Ruohan), a wildlife activist, is the next target. At this critical juncture, the elite international security team Vanguard led by Tang (Jackie Chan) becomes their only hope. After saving Qin, Tang and his team head across the globe to find and rescue Fareeda. In the process of securing the hostages, they discover the big boss behind it all is plotting a shocking conspiracy.
