Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘VR Fighter’

Panorama are bringing the 2021 Chinese sci-fi action movie ‘VR Fighter’ (神兵特攻 / One More Shot) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on July 22, 2022.

Directed by Tang Qiaojia, the film follows a professional bodyguard who travels overseas to find doctors for his daughter but winds up with a new job as a virtual reality tester. The cast includes Fan Siu-Wong, Jiang Yiyi, Wang Zhipeng, Song Ziqiao, and Diego Dati.

Synopsis: After losing his wife, Lung Wei, a once brilliant bodyguard, moves overseas in an effort to find proper care for his sick daughter. One day, he saves the life of Amy, a technician for a technology company, who invites him to participate in the testing of a new product – the armed mech. During the interview process, the company place Lung Wei into the most advanced virtual reality technology. In the virtual world, he embarks on a journey that could well save the lives of Amy and other researchers… [© Far East Films]
