Blu-ray release: ‘Cops And Robbers’

CN Entertainment are bringing the 1979 Hong Kong crime drama ‘Cops And Robbers’ (點指兵兵) to Hong Kong Blu-ray on March 26, 2020.

Directed by Alex Cheung, the film revolves around two Policeman who find themselves targeted for revenge after they fail to take down a group of robbers. The cast includes Wong Chung, Cheung Kwok-Keung, Chan Chik-Wai, Cheung Ka-Wai, Chan Siu-Dik, Kam Hing-Yin, Hui Bing-Sam, and Teddy Robin.

Synposis: Hot-tempered sergeant Chan Lap Kei (Wong Chung) is good at cracking cases, but his people relations, particularly with superior Chow (Kam Hing-Yin), leave much to be desired. Hardworking rookie Wing (Cheung Kwok-Keung), who just joined the team, gets partnered up with Kei and eagerly learns from the veteran cop. The Wing-Kei tag team successfully tracks down a group of robbers, but tragedy ensues when they fail to capture the cross-eyed leader Biu (Hui Bing-Sam). Biu targets the police for revenge, starting with Kei’s son.
