Blu-ray release: ‘Kid From Kwangtung’

88 Films are bringing the 1982 Hong Kong martial arts movie ‘Kid From Kwangtung’ (廣東靚仔玉) to UK and US Blu-ray on October 28, 2024.

Directed by Hsu Hsia, the film revolves around a pair of kung fu students who find themselves targeted by the same master who killed their teacher. The cast includes Wong Yu, Yuen Tak, Chiang Kam, Sharon Yeung, Kwan Hoi-San, Yen Shi-Kwan, and Hwang Jang-Lee.

Synopsis: After an evil martial arts master (Hwang Jang-Lee) kills their own teacher, He Jiayu (Wong Yu) and Wu Dezhi (Chiang Kam) realise that they’re next. But can the squabbling duo put their differences aside long enough to defeat him?
