Blu-ray release: ‘Man In Love’

AV-Jet International Media are bringing the 2021 Taiwanese romantic drama ‘Man In Love’ (当男人恋爱时) to Taiwanese Blu-ray on April 29, 2022.

Directed by Yin Chen-Hao, the film is a remake of the 2014 South Korean film of the same name that follows a small-time gangster as he clumsily attempts to court a girl he has a crush on. The cast includes Roy Chiu, Tiffany Ann Hsu, Tsai Chen-Nan, Tan Qing-Pu, Chung Hsin-Ling, and Lan Wei-Hua.

Synopsis: Debt collector Cheng (Roy Chiu) looks like a thug but he’s actually a big softie at heart. One day while he’s out collecting debt, he falls head over heels for Hao Ting (Tiffany Ann Hsu), the daughter of a debtor. He awkwardly draws up a contract with her to offset debt with dates. Through these dates, Hao Ting gradually opens up to the warm-hearted Cheng. For the sake of their future, Cheng decides to leave the gangster life behind, but circumstances beyond their control work to separate them.
