Blu-ray release: ‘Vampire Kids’

CN Entertainment are bringing the 1991 Hong Kong horror comedy ‘Vampire Kids’ (殭屍福星仔) to Hong Kong Blu-ray on August 6, 2020.

Directed by Lee Paak-Ling and Ha Sau-Hin, the film revolves around a group of tourists who find themselves being hunted by a monster demon. The cast includes Billy Lau, Sandra Ng, Shing Fui-On, Amy Yip, Law Ching-Ho, and Frankie Chan Chi-Leung.

Synopsis: A tour group accidentally ends up on a deserted island. The group leader discovers a diamond in an abandoned village and steals it, unwittingly releasing a monster demon in the process. In need of blood to revive his powers, the demon sends out five vampire kids to retrieve blood for him, but the five scared kids get captured by the tour group instead. Enraged, the demon sets out to eliminate the vampire kids and the tour group.
