Blu-ray release: ‘When Taekwondo Strikes’

Eureka Entertainment are bringing the 1973 Hong Kong martial arts movie ‘When Taekwondo Strikes’ (跆拳震九州) to UK Blu-ray on January 22, 2024.
Directed by Wong Fung, the film follows a resistance group that enlists the help of a Hapkido expert to rescue their master from Japanese occupying forces. The cast includes Angela Mao, Carter Wong, Jhoon Rhee, Hwang In-Shik, Kenji Kazuma, and Sammo Hung.
Synopsis: In Japanese occupied Korea, resistance leader Lee (Jhoon Rhee) is captured by the Japanese occupying forces. To rescue him, his pupil Jin (Carter Wong) must get help from a Hapkido expert (Angela Mao). Together they fight their way through an army of Japanese villains.
