The official website has given us our first look at the upcoming second season of the superhero anime ‘My Hero Academia’ (‘Boku no Hero Academia’).
Based on a manga by Kohei Horikoshi, ‘My Hero Academia’ centres around a young superhero-loving boy called Izuku Midoriya who is born without powers in a world populated with superhumans. However, a chance encounter with the world’s greatest superhero, All Might, gives Izuku new hope that his dream could still become a reality.
Horikoshi first launched the manga series in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014, and the anime’s first season of 13 episodes premiered on the MBS /TBS channel on April 3.
No word yet on an official release date, but we do know that the second season will cover the U.A. Sports Festival arc.
