‘Leap’ (夺冠) is a 2020 Chinese biographical sports drama directed by Peter Chan.
The film follows several generations of Chinese women’s volleyball players as they attempt to win glory for the country. The cast includes Gong Li, Huang Bo, Wu Gang, Peng Yuchang, Lydia Bai, Chen Zhan, Luo Hui, Li Dongxu, An Jiajie, Hui Ruoqi, and Zhu Ting.
Synopsis: After 12 years, the Chinese women’s volleyball team reaches the Olympic final again. The ups and downs of the Chinese women’s volleyball team for more than three decades have slowly spread away.
‘Leap’ opens across China on January 25, 2020.
