‘Single in Seoul’ (싱글 인 서울) is a 2023 South Korean romantic comedy directed by Park Bum-Soo.

The film revolves around two drastically different people who meet through an essay about the single life, and in the process, rediscover their old wounds from past loves. The cast includes Lee Dong-Wook, Lim Soo-Jung, Esom, Jang Hyun-Sung, and Kim Ji-Young.

Synopsis: Park Young-Ho (Lee Dong-Wook) is a successful essay writer and powerful influencer on social media thanks to his post “It’s good to be alone! Loving yourself is the wisest thing you can do”. Joo Hyun-Jin (Lim Soo-Jung) is a publishing company’s editor-in-chief who gets straight to the point but she has a terrible touch for everyday life and romance. When the pair begin working together on a project entitled ‘Single in Seoul’, it forces them to rediscover old wounds from past loves.

‘Single in Seoul’ opens across South Korea on November 29, 2023.
