‘The Daechi Scandal’ (대치동 스캔들) is a 2024 South Korean drama written and directed by Kim Soo-In.

The film revolves around a teacher in the Daechi neighbourhood who finds herself being targeted by local parents after they witness her meeting with an old boyfriend. The cast includes Ahn So-Hee, Park Sang-Nam, Takuya Terada, Jo Eun-Yoo, Oh Tae-Kyung, and Bae Yoo-Ram.

Synopsis: Yoon-Im (Ahn So-Hee) is a blunt, but excellent Korean language instructor at a private institute in the Daechi neighborhood of Gangnam, Seoul. One day after a midterm exam at a nearby middle school that Yoon-Im covers, she gets a visit from Ki-Haeng (Park Sang-Nam), who teaches Korean language at the middle school. He is also her ex-boyfriend that she dated 10 years ago. Someone sees the meeting between Yoon-Im and Ki-Haeng and rumors about them begin to spread among the parents in the Daechi neighborhood.
