Theatrical release: ‘Deep Sea’

Trinity CineAsia are bringing the 2023 Chinese animated fantasy adventure ‘Deep Sea’ (深海) to UK cinemas on June 7, 2024.

Written and directed by Tian Xiaopeng, the film follows a young girl who sets off on a unique and magical journey after she strays into a dreamy deep sea world. The voice cast includes Su Xin, Wang Tingwen, Teng Kuixing, Yang Ting, and Ji Jing.

Synopsis: On a family cruise, Shenxiu falls overboard into a kaleidoscopic, dreamlike ocean world of swirling colour and cascading water. With the help of wildly experimental chef Nanhe and his fantastical Deep Sea Restaurant, Shenxiu embarks on a soul-discovering journey to reunite with her real mother.
