Theatrical release: ‘Ride On’

Trinity CineAsia are bringing the 2023 Chinese comedy-drama ‘Ride On’ (龙马精神) to selected UK cinemas from April 7, 2023.
Written and directed by Larry Yang, the film revolves around a man who must turn to his daughter and her boyfriend for help after he is threatened with losing his beloved horse. The cast includes Jackie Chan, Liu Haocun, Kevin Guo, Wu Jing, and Xiao Shenyang.
Synopsis: Luo (Chan) is a washed-up stuntman whose glory days are long behind him. When his trusty stunt horse, Red Hare, becomes the target of debt collectors, the pair fight off the attackers, with their impressive display caught on camera and the video going viral. Meanwhile, Luo works to reconnect with his estranged daughter and her boyfriend, who both take an interest in the legal case against Luo. But when his renewed fame scores him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, will he finally put his family first?
