Trailer [2]: ‘The Yin Yang Master’

‘The Yin Yang Master’ (侍神令) is a 2021 Chinese fantasy epic directed by Li Weiran.

Based on the video game ‘Onmyoji’ by NetEase Games, the film follows a man capable of traversing between the worlds of humans and monsters who finds himself forced to do battle with a Demon Emperor. The cast includes Chen Kun, Zhou Xun, William Chan, Qu Chuxiao, Wang Likun, and Shen Yue.

Synopsis: Qingming (Chen Kun), an Onmyōji (magic specialist) capable of travelling between the two worlds of humans and monsters, is in deep crisis following the conclusion of a contract with a group of monsters. At the same time, the power of the Demon Emperor is making a comeback, and a fierce battle is on the horizon. At a critical moment when the situation is changing, Qingming suddenly finds that his identity as a human hybrid is the key to all of these disasters… [© Far East Films]
