‘A Fangirl’s Romance’ (迷妹罗曼史) is a 2021 Chinese romantic comedy directed by Qin Peng.

The film follows a young man who uncovers a wild story after he sets out to prove that his mother has been lying about the identity of his father. The cast includes Yan Ni, Sheng Yilun, Yu Xiaotong, Guo Shutong, Zhou Dongyu, Vision Wei, and Qin Hailu.

Synopsis: Gao Ge (Sheng Yilun) is a young man obsessed with technology and full of fantastic ideas. His mother, Gao Bei (Yan Ni) has always maintained that his father is the famous singer known as Luo Dayou. In an effort to put an end to what he believes to be a lie, Ge takes his mother to Shenzhen to confront Dayou directly. However, the two get separated after they arrive so Ge teams up with a couple of friends to try and track down the truth. Along the way, they discover that Bei had a crazy youth and her legendary love story may not be a lie after all. [© Far East Films]
