‘A Man of Reason’ (보호자) is a 2023 South Korean action drama co-written and directed by Jung Woo-Sung.

The film revolves around a former gang member who decides to go clean after learning he has a daughter but it isn’t long before his past catches up to him. The cast includes Jung Woo-Sung, Kim Nam-Gil, Park Sung-Woong, Kim Joon-Han, and Park Yoo-Na.

Synopsis: Soo-Hyeok (Jung Woo-Sung) was a member of a gang, but he killed his boss and went to prison. 10 years later, he is released from prison and learns of the existence of his daughter which he did not know about before.
