‘A Windfall Trap’ (横财局中局) is a 2019 Chinese period comedy/thriller written and directed by Chen Jianyong.
The film revolves around the impoverished people in the mountains of western Sichuan who suddenly find themselves showered with money. The cast includes Huang Shengyi, Nie Yuan, Lam Suet, Bian Xiaoxiao, and Wang Quanyou.
‘A Windfall Trap’ opens across China on December 28, 2019.
