‘Be Somebody’ (扬名立万) is a 2021 Chinese suspense drama co-written and directed by Liu Xunzimo.
The film revolves around a group of filmmakers who decide to make a movie based on a real murder case without realising that the killer is actually among them. The cast includes Zheng Yin, Deng Jiajia, Yu Entai, Yang Haoyu, Chen Minghao, Qin Xiaoxian, Zhang Benyu, Ke Da, Deng Enxi, and Yu Ailei.
Synopsis: On a dark and windy night, a group of unmotivated filmmakers gather together to make a real life murder case into a movie in an effort to make a name for themselves.
