‘Becoming Li Jiahe’ (少女佳禾) is a 2020 Chinese drama written and directed by Sun Zhou.

The film follows a young girl who loses her mother in a supposed accident and becomes obsessed with seeking revenge. The cast includes Deng Enxi, Leon Li, Wu Guohua, and Li Yichen.

Synopsis: Following the death of her mother two years ago, Li Jiahe (Deng Enxi) saw her life change. The constant bullying at school and having to rely on a cowardly father (Wu Guohua) made Jiahe into a hard and bitter girl intent on revenge. Although the law fails her, Jiahe is still determined to get justice before her 14th birthday. She follows the person responsible, learning to drink and even mingling with the young people around him. And when the opportunity arises, she is determined to take her chance. [© Far East Films]
