‘Broken Rage’ (ブロークン レイジ) is a 2025 Japanese action comedy written and directed by Takeshi Kitano.
The film revolves around an ageing hitman who is caught and agrees to go undercover in exchange for his freedom. The cast includes Takeshi Kitano, Tadanobu Asano, Nao Omori, Takashi Nishina, and Shohei Uno.
Synopsis: A seemingly unremarkable man but actually a hit man called “Mouse” is caught by the police. In exchange for his freedom, he goes undercover, infiltrates a drug ring, and arranges a fake deal, but an unexpected turn of events occurs…
