Trailer: ‘Buzzy Noise’

‘Buzzy Noise’ (バジーノイズ) is a 2024 Japanese romantic drama co-written and directed by Hiroki Kazama.

Based on the manga series by Jun Mutsuki, the film revolves around a music composer who sees his “simple and clean” lifestyle interrupted by the arrival of a new neighbour. The cast includes Takumi Kawanishi, Hiyori Sakurada, Kai Inowaki, Shuntaro Yanagi, and Wan Marui.

Synopsis: Kiyosumi (Takumi Kawanishi) is the live-in manager of an apartment building. He spends most of his time composing and playing music in his apartment. He doesn’t relate well with people and his life is simple and clean. One day, Ushio (Hiyori Sakurada), who lives upstairs from him, greets him. She tells him that she broke up with her boyfriend and she listens to his music every day. Ushio then posts a video online of Kiyoshumi playing his music.
