‘Desert of Namibia’ (ナミビアの砂漠) is a 2024 Japanese drama written and directed by Yoko Yamanaka.
The film revolves around a young woman who is bored with every aspect of her life and attempts to make a change by switching boyfriends. The cast includes Yuumi Kawai, Daichi Kaneko, Kanichiro, Yuzumi Shintani, and Ayumu Nakajima.
Synopsis: For 21-year-old Kana, thinking about the future is too boring, and she doesn’t even know what she wants from life. She has no passion for anything, and even romance is just a way to kill time. Honda, her boyfriend with whom she lives, tries to make her happy by paying the rent and cooking for her, but as Kana deepens her relationship with Hayashi, a confident creator, she begins to feel that Honda is a burden.
