‘Drive’ (드라이브) is a 2024 South Korean suspense thriller written and directed by Park Dong-Hee.
The film revolves around an influencer who is kidnapped and trapped in the trunk of a car, where her captor demands that she livestream the event to get donations. The cast includes Park Ju-Hyun, Kim Yeo-Jin, Kim Do-Yoon, Jung Woong-In, and Kim Hye-Na.
Synopsis: Yoo-na (Park Ju-Hyun) is a famous YouTube influencer who always looks down on others. When she is invited to a cosmetic brand launching party, things don’t go the way that she wanted. Tired and extremely stressed, she takes a couple of shots and calls a designated driver before falling asleep. When Yoo-na opens her eyes, she realizes she’s trapped in the trunk of the car. Rather than asking for a normal ransom, the kidnapper demands that she broadcast a ‘kidnapping livestream’ and beg for money from the viewers.
