Trailer: ‘Farewell Restaurant’

‘Farewell Restaurant’ (이별식당) is a 2020 South Korean musical romantic drama directed by Lim Wang-Tae.

The film follows a heartbroken chef who moves to Greece to open a restaurant and soon finds himself falling for a local girl. The cast includes Go Yoon, Aprilann, Song Geul-Song-Geul, Hyun Myung-Han, and Simeon Tsakiris.

Synopsis: Hae-jin (Go Yoon) is a chef who recently broke up with his girlfriend. To clear his head, he travels to Skopelos in Greece, the same island that the couple were due to visit for their summer vacation. There Hae-jin opens a Korean restaurant called the “Farewell Restaurant”. If couples are due to breakup and want one final farewell, the restaurant will wine and dine them with comforting music. And then one day, a Greek girl named Eleni comes into the restaurant… and suddenly Hae-jin finds himself falling in love again. [© Far East Films]
