‘Freckles’ (そばかす) is a 2022 Japanese drama directed by Shinya Tamada.

The film revolves around a thirty-year-old woman who has never had feelings for anyone but is being pressured by her mother to find a husband. The cast includes Toko Miura, Atsuko Maeda, Marika Ito, Ku Ijima, and Kou Maehara.

Synopsis: Thirty-year-old Yoshizumi Sohata (Toruko Miura) has never had any feelings for anyone and does not know what love is. After failing in her aspired career in music, she returns home to work at a call centre, where she is busy with her daily duties. With her younger sister married and pregnant, and her mother pressuring her to get a boyfriend, her mother sets up a blind date without her permission.
