‘Goodbye Cruel World’ (グッバイ・クルエル・ワールド) is a 2022 Japanese crime drama directed by Tatsushi Omori.
The film revolves around five strangers who come together to commit a one-time robbery but soon find that their getaway wasn’t as clean as they had hoped. The cast includes Hidetoshi Nishijima, Takumi Saito, Hio Miyazawa, Tina Tamashiro, Daisuke Miyagawa, Nao Omori, and Tomokazu Miura.
Synopsis: Five people, whose identities are unknown to each other, gather for a one-time robbery job. They head to a motel that a yakuza gang use to launder money. The group succeed in their heist and prepare to go back to their normal lives, but the yakuza are following them. [Source: AsianWiki]
