‘Hana Manma’ (花まんま) is a 2025 Japanese drama directed by Tetsu Maeda.

Based on the short story collection by Minato Shukawa, the film revolves around a passionate older brother who lost his parents at an early age and lives as a parent figure for his only sister. The cast includes Ryohei Suzuki, Kasumi Arimura, Oji Suzuka, First Summer Uika, and Tamae Ando.

Synopsis: Toshiki Kato (Ryohei Suzuki) and his younger sister Fumiko Kato (Kasumi Arimura) live together in Osaka, Japan. Since they lost their parents at an early age, Toshiki has raised Fumiko and has kept his promise to his late father, which was to always protect his sister no matter what. With Fumiko deciding to get married, Toshiki should finally be able to take a load off his shoulders, but Fumiko has a secret that she hasn’t told her brother. [Source: AsianWiki]
