‘Hear Me: Our Summer’ (청설) is a 2024 South Korean romantic drama written and directed by Jo Sun-Ho.

The film, which is a remake of the 2009 Taiwanese movie ‘Hear Me’, revolves around a hearing-impaired woman and a motorbike delivery man who overcome their communication barriers to find a connection. The cast includes Hong Kyung, Roh Yoon-Seo, and Kim Min-Ju.

Synopsis: Yong-Joon (Hong Kyung) is a young man searching for a dream who works part-time delivering lunch boxes for a shop run by his parents. One day, he makes a delivery to a swimming pool. There, he sees Yeo-Reum (Roh Yoon-Seo) and falls in love with her at first sight. He realizes she is deaf and approaches her by using sign language that he learned in the past. Meanwhile, Yeo-Reum lives with her younger sister Ga-Eul (Kim Min-Ju), who is a hearing-impaired swimmer. Yeo-Reum is busy with part-time work and taking care of Ga-Eul’s swimming training.
