‘High Forces’ (危机航线 / Crisis Route) is a 2024 Hong Kong action thriller directed by Oxide Pang Chun.

The film revolves around an international security expert who is forced to take on a group of hijackers after they take over an Airbus A380. The cast includes Andy Lau, Zhang Zifeng, Qu Chuxiao, Liu Tao, Guo Xiaodong, and Jiang Mengjie.

Synopsis: A five-star ultra-luxury A380 airliner is violently hijacked on its international maiden voyage, and the entire aircraft is shrouded in murderous intent. Inside the cabin, international security expert Gao Haojun (Andy Lau) is circling a crazy group of tough criminals, and his daughter Xiaojun (Zhang Zifeng) is tied up as a hostage, with her life on the line. The leader of the hijackers, Mike (Qu Chuxiao), is demanding 3.5 billion RMB, and the passengers on the plane have been reduced to his bargaining chips and toys. His daughter and ex-wife Fu Yuan (Liu Tao) fall into the clutches of the hijacker, and the violent god of killing, Gao Haojun, turns on the extreme anti-killing mode, and a high-altitude chase begins. [© Far East Films]

‘High Forces’ opens across China on September 30 and Hong Kong on October 10, 2024.
