‘Labyrinth’ (红色冲浪板) is a 2024 Chinese romantic drama co-written and directed by Ma Xue.

The film revolves around a trio of troubled strangers whose paths cross after they travel to a mysterious island labelled as a utopia for surfers. The cast includes Tony Xu, Huang Yan, Wang Yueyi, Lee Kang-Sheng, and Huang Yi.

Synopsis: Xiao Fang (Tony Xu) hides the secrets of his past, Yuan Yong (Huang Yan) is looking to escape from his parents’ arrangement, and Yang Fan (Wang Yueyi) searches for direction in her future. All three head to an island rarely seen, known as a utopia for surfers. There they encounter Dongbin (Lee Kang-Sheng) who owns a surf store and welcomes people to the island, composing an ambiguous but sincere love song for the surfers to enjoy together.
