‘Lose to Win’ (好像也没那么热血沸腾) is a 2023 Chinese sports comedy-drama directed by Gao Hu.

The film, which is a remake of the 2018 Spanish movie ‘Champions’, revolves around an egotistical basketball coach who is forced to work with a team of players with learning disabilities as part of his community service. The cast includes Wei Xiang, Wang Zhi, Yue Liang, Allen Ai Lun, Wang Ziyi, and Zhou Dayong.

Synopsis: Wei Guozheng (Wei Xiang), a basketball coach who is obsessed with winning, is forced to teach at a school for people with learning disabilities as part of his community service. When the egotistical coach meets a group of players who love basketball but have “negative ability values”, Wei’s undefeated record comes under serious threat.
