‘Matching’ (マッチング) is a 2024 Japanese mystery thriller co-written and directed by Eiji Uchida.

The film revolves around a woman who meets a man on a dating app and sees things take a turn for the worse when he is revealed to be the primary suspect in a series of murders. The cast includes Tao Tsuchiya, Daisuke Sakuma, Nobuaki Kaneko, Tetta Sugimoto, and Moemi Katayama.

Synopsis: Rinka (Tao Tsuchiya) is a wedding planner who doesn’t have much luck with men. When her colleague suggests she try a dating app, Rinka reluctantly registers with one and gets matched to a man. When the pair meet, the man looks totally different to his picture and Rinka feels that something is not right about him. Meanwhile, a series of murders take place and it seems that all of the victims were users of the dating app. As it happens, the man that Rinka met is the primary suspect… [© Far East Films]
