‘Missing’ (ミッシング ) is a 2024 Japanese drama written and directed by Keisuke Yoshida.
The film revolves around the mother of a missing girl who finds her life falling apart as she gets consumed by a desperate struggle to see her daughter again. The cast includes Satomi Ishihara, Tomoya Nakamura, Munetaka Aoki, Yusaku Mori, and Tsugumi Arita.
Synopsis: A little girl goes missing while walking down a street. Three months pass and there are no clues on her whereabouts. When the girl originally went missing, her mother Saori (Satomi Ishihara) went to watch a live performance by her favourite idol. Rumours about Saori begin to spread on the internet and worsen with each passing day. Moreover, Saori feels her husband is getting cold to her and this leads them to fight endlessly.
