‘Mr. Yano’s Ordinary Days’ (矢野くんの普通の日々) is a 2024 Japanese romantic comedy directed by Takehiko Shinjo.
Based on the manga by Yui Tamura, the film revolves around a high school girl who finds herself drawn to a boy who always arrives at school covered in all sorts of injuries. The cast includes Yusei Yagi, Anji Ikehata, Kaito Nakamura, Mizuho Shiromiya, and Keigo Ito.
Synopsis: Seiko Yoshida (Anji Ikehata) is a high school student and a class representative. She can’t help but worry about Tsuyoshi Yano (Yusei Yagi). He comes to school every day covered in injuries and gives different reasons why. She and her best friends start investigating and discover that he is an extremely accident-prone boy who can’t have a normal high school student’s life. Yoshida decides to give him all of her support and while spending time with him, she finds herself attracted to him even though it’s not easy for them to get closer. Meanwhile, popular male student Yudai Hashiba (Kaito Nakamura) confesses his feelings to Yoshida. Complicating matters more, Yano is touched by Yoshida’s kindness to him and falls in love for the first time in his life. [AsianWiki]
