‘Mumu’ (不说话的爱) is a 2025 Chinese drama directed by Sha Mo.

The film revolves around a deaf man who relies on his young daughter to help him communicate, but things start to go awry when the pair are separated. The cast includes Lay Zhang, Li Luoan, Huang Yao, Vivienne Tien, and Zhang Ruonan.

Synopsis: A deaf man, Xiao Ma (Zhang Yixing), and his daughter, Mumu (Li Luo eucalyptus), keep each other company. Mumu is the ‘backbone’ of the family, communicating with the outside world on behalf of her father and helping him to take jobs to earn money. However, as Mumu grows up, she has to integrate into the hearing world, and their inseparable life is about to be broken. At this very moment, a gang specialising in the use of deaf people to commit crimes has set its sights on Xiao Ma, and he is tricked into the abyss of crime… [© Far East Films]
