‘My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising’ (僕のヒーローアカデミア THE MOVIE ヒーローズ:ライジング) is a 2020 Japanese anime superhero movie directed by Kenji Nagasaki.
The film, which is a spin-off of the anime series of the same name, finds the students of Class 1-A facing off against a new villain who is looking to exploit the retirement of All Might. The voice cast includes Daiki Yamashita, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Kenta Miyake, Ayane Sakura, Aoi Yuki, Yuki Kaji, Kosuke Kuwano, Eri Kitamura, and Kaito Ishikawa.
Synopsis: Even though All Might was admired by many all around the world, it was with a sad heart that he had to give up his hero role as the Symbol of Peace. Because of this, a dark force began moving behind the scenes, a villain named Nine who can be considered the greatest villain thus far…
‘My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising’ opens across Japan on December 20 and is expected to hit UK/US cinemas in early 2020.
