‘Oh! My Gran’ (오! 문희) is a 2020 South Korean comedy directed by Jung Se-Kyo.
The film revolves around an elderly lady with Alzheimer’s who must team up with her son to try and find the person responsible for a hit-and-run incident. The cast includes Na Moon-Hee, Lee Hee-Joon, Choi Won-Young, Park Ji-Young, and Lee Jin-Ju.
Synopsis: In her mind, Moon-hee is the princess in an animated TV show. In reality, Moon-hee is a elderly lady with Alzheimer’s disease who is cared for by her son, Du-won and grand-daughter, Bo-mi. On one secret night-out with Bo-mi, the pair are involved in a hit-and-run accident. Moon-hee is the only witness, but she is unable to coherently communicate what happened. Meanwhile, Bo-mi is left in a coma and the police are unable to help. Now Du-won will have to track down the culprit using only the few pieces of the vehicle that remain and his mother’s patchy recollections.
