‘Out’ is a 2023 Japanese action drama written and directed by Hiroshi Shinagawa.
Based on the manga written by Tatsuya Iguchi and illustrated by Makoto Mizuta, the film follows a legendary delinquent who attempts to turn over a new leaf but quickly finds himself pulled back into the gang lifestyle. The cast includes Yuki Kura, Kotaro Daigo, Yuki Yoda, Koshi Mizukami, Ryutaro Yamasaki, and Tetta Sugimoto.
Synopsis: Legendary super delinquent Tatsuya Iguchi (Yuki Kura), who was feared as the ‘mad dog of Komae’, is released from a juvenile reformatory. He has started a new life in Chiba, far from his home town, working at a barbecue restaurant called ‘Sangyu’ run by his uncle (Tetta Sugimoto) and aunt (Marina Watanabe), but he is on probation and will be out the next time he gets into a fight. However, by chance, he meets Kaname Abe (Koshi Mizukami), vice-chairman of Chiba’s motorcycle gang ‘Zanjin Kirihito’ and forms a mysterious bond with him, which leads him to get involved in a fierce bloodshed war with the semi-gang group ‘Bakurakan Bakurakan’.
