Trailer: ‘Pegasus’

‘Pegasus’ (飞驰人生) is a 2019 Chinese sports comedy-drama written and directed by Han Han.

The film revolves around a veteran driver who attempts to make a comeback following a suspension for illegal racing. The cast includes Shen Teng, Huang Jingyu, Yin Zheng, Zhang Benyu, and Yin Fang.

Synopsis: Zhang Chi (Shen Teng), once a powerful rally driver, was banned from racing five years ago for racing privately. Having fallen from the top to rock bottom, Zhang Chi has experienced the hardships of life. After enduring humiliation and reforming his mind, he finally fights for the sentence to be lifted. After that, he finds Sun Yuqiang (Yin Zheng), a navigator who is as close to him as a brother, and decides to join him in this year’s Bayinbruk Rally. However, before he can do so, Zhang Qi must retake his driving test, modify his car, and secure sponsorship. When he finally manages to make it to the track, he will also face the challenge of Lin Zhendong (Huang Jingyu), a rookie who has risen to prominence during the years of the ban. [© Far East Films]
